Around 11 p.m. on November 19 officers responded to a shooting that had just occurred in Bethel Homes. Contact was made with a Pittard Road resident who said he and the offender were shooting dice. They had a disagreement and the offender pulled a gun, demanded his money, and then shot him in the leg.  The offender fled the scene. An officer saw the offender enter a vehicle and he made a traffic stop a few blocks from the scene.  Christoper Michael Tyalor was returned to the scene where the victim identified him as the offender and he was arrested.  The victim was transported to Athens Regional Medical Center for treatment.  During this time, a call was received about a female gunshot victim who had arrived at Athens Regional. A Rocksprings Court said she had been visiting a friend at Bethel Homes. As she was leaving, she heard two men arguing.  One raised his hand and a shot was fired, striking her in the leg. She ran to some friends and they transported her to the hospital. Taylor, 21, Lombardy Dr, was charged with Armed Robbery and two counts Aggravated Assault.  

A resident reported that Pauldoe St residence was burglarized between 10 a.m. on November 17 and 2:40 p.m. on  November 19.  A lap top, wireless modem, VCR/DVD combo, and video game system were stolen.  The total value was $904.

Between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m .on November 19 a Fairview Street residence was burglarized.  A TV valued at $1,000 was stolen.

A Woodsong Avenue residence was burglarized between 1 p.m. and midnight on November 19.  A TV valued at $800 was stolen.  

A woman reported that her vehicle was entered between 11 p.m. on November 18 and 11:45 a.m. on  November 19 while it was parked at her Oconee Street residence.  A laptop and GPS unit valued at $1,150 were stolen

A vehicle owned by a Winterville Road resident was entered between 5 p.m. o November 18 and 12:30 p.m. on November 19 while parked at a North Avenue location.  An AM/FM/CD player, CDs, DVDs, sander, speakers, amplifier, and cash were stolen.  The total value was $6,640. 

A Danielsville woman reported an air conditioner unit valued at $3,000 stolen from a North Bluff Road residence between 12 noon November 12 and 2:30 p.m. on November 19.
