Crime Blotter--Crimes involving cars and other mischief

A Quail Run Drive resident reported that when he pulled up at the Marathon station at 3465 Jefferson Road, he was robbed. Woods said he was parked and getting out of his car when the suspect approached from behind and pulled a gun and took his money. The suspect was described as a black man, wearing dreadlocks with blonde high lights, and wearing black shirt and black jeans. The suspect then ran from the area. The victim said that the majority of the money stolen was to be used for child support. The incident was reported to have occurred at 3pm on June 15.

An Arch Street resident reported that his 1985 Cadillac was stolen on June 15 between 8:30am and 9:45am. The vehicle was taken on a rollback wrecker. Later it was learned that the car was at an auto salvage yard in Madison County. ACCPD and the Madison County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene. A suspect was named in the report.

A Lake Court resident said her car was broken into between 2am and 5am on June 15. Suspect stole stereo equipment and the wheels off of the victim’s car. The total value of items stolen is $835. 

A Lake Place resident said the wheels were stolen off his car between 2am and 5am on June 15.. The wheels were valued at $500.

A man said his car was broken into while it was parked at his Gaines School Road residence. The incident occurred between 11am on June 14 and 1pm on June 15. A Tom Tom GPS was taken.

A Crescendo Drive residence was burglarized between June 1 and June 15. The reporting party advised that 2 TVs were taken from the residence, total value $500.

A man reported that a motorized roof cart and stainless steel mesh were stolen from Commercial Roofing, 125 Trade Street, between 7am on June 5 and 7am on June 8.Total value of items was $9,000.
