The information in this story comes from the ACC Police Department. An arrest doesn't mean a conviction.

Members of the Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 127 Franklin Street on February 29.  A quantity of crack cocaine and marijuana as well as digital scales, packaging material, and cash were seized. Treyonce Hall and Devonta Riddle were arrested and charged with Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute and Possession of Marijuana.

Around 3:15pm on February 29, officers responded to a call of shots fired at Tivoli Apartments, Scandia Cir.  Contact was made with a resident who said that another male, later identified as Michael Kiney, tried to shoot him.  Officers located Kiney and took him into investigative custody.  Investigation revealed Kiney had dumped some ice near the resident from second floor balcony.  They exchanged words and when the resident came after Kiney, Kiney pointed a gun at him and pulled the trigger but it jammed.  As he tried to clear the jam, the weapon discharged a round into the ground.  Kiney originally told officers he threw the gun into the woods.  It was learned he gave the gun to someone to take from the scene.  Kiney, 22, Scandia Cir, was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault and Tampering with Evidence.
