Teenager murdered; body found on Rolling Ridge Drive. The information in this story comes from the ACC Police Department. An arrest doesn't mean a conviction.
A Vineyard Drive residence was burglarized between 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on November 6. Jewelry valued at $10,733 was stolen.
Between 7 a.m. on October 23 and 7 a.m. on November 6 a Weatherly Woods Dr residence owned by an Atlanta resident was burglarized. Copper wiring was stolen from the junction box and furnace. A table was also stolen. A power meter, owned by Georgia Power, was stolen from outside the residence. The total value was unknown.
Around 10:45 p.m. on November 6 officers responded to a call of a person shot on Rolling Ridge Drive. Upon arrival they found a man, later identified as Jeremy Sean Buchanan, 19, Cowart Rd, Commerce, with a gunshot wound. He was transported to Athens Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. The investigation continues.
