Crime Blotter--assault and burglary

An officer met with a Danielsville women in the emergency room at She said while she was sitting in her vehicle at a shopping complex at 480 North Avenue, a man approached her and held something to her neck. He told her to give him her money. As she tried to start her vehicle in order to drive away, she heard a pop and realized she was bleeding. She did not see the suspect and could not give a description of him. She could only say he did not “speak clear English.”  She drove herself to the hospital. The investigation continues. This occurred around 6:45pm on April 22.  

A woman reported that her Rustwood Drive residence was burglarized between 3:45am and 9:40pm on April 22. A TV and laptop with a total value of $600 were stolen.

Officers responded to a burglary in progress at a Rustwood Drive residence around 3:25am on April 22. The resident said she was awakened by a noise. She did not see anyone. Nothing is known to be missing.
