Crime Blotter--Fighting and Stealing

Officers responded to a fight on Hill Top Rd on December 1 at 2:44am. The victim said he and Gary Huff got into a verbal argument that turned physical. The victim said during the altercation Huff pulled a knife and swung the knife, trying to cut the victim in the face and told the victim that he was going to kill him. Huff left when the victim said he was going to call the police. Officers investigated the incident and arrested Huff for Aggravated Assault.

A woman reported that her Cleveland Rd residence was burglarized between December 1 and November 30. The resident said entry was made via the basement door. Items stolen include tools, lawn and garden equipment and car rims; the total value was $6,200. 

A woman reported that her Camelot Drive home was burglarized between November 18th and 30th. Items taken include a 55” TV, cash and a stereo, the total value is $2,075. 

A woman reported that her Petite Lane residence was burglarized on November 26 between 8am and 4:30pm. She said said a .22 handgun and assorted jewelry were taken, the value was estimated at $200.

A man said his 2002 Chevrolet Malibu was entered while it was parked in front of his Elizabeth Street residence. The man said the incident occurred between November 28th and 30th. A stereo was reported stolen. 

A man living on International Drive said he left his 1987 Porsche parked overnight on November 30, from midnight to noon, at 50 Gaines School Road. The man said the car was left unsecured with the windows down. Persons unknown entered the  vehicle and removed $650 worth of stereo equipment.
