Crime Blotter -- More Burglaries and Attempted Burglaries

An attempt was made to enter a Forest Heights Dr residence between 10am on  January 28 and 8am on January 29.  

Around 11:40am on January 29, officers responded to an alarm at an Orchard Creek Drive residence.  Upon arrival, officers found a broken window.  The residence was cleared and no one was found inside.  Two witnesses saw a dark green car with white pin stripes, a mid to late 1990’s Camry type, back into the driveway.  It was occupied by two black men in their mid-20’s.  The passenger exited and went around the back of the house.  Within a few minutes, he came back to the vehicle, entered, and they left.  This suspect was about 6 feet tall, slender build, wearing a dark hoodie and camo pants.  The driver was heavy set, wearing a dark hoodie.  When the resident arrived, he checked the residence and found nothing missing.

Between 9:15pm on January 28 and 11:50am on January 29 boxes of perfume, value unknown, were stolen from a hallway outside of the Perfume Place, 3700 Atlanta Highway.

Around 4:30pm on January 29, officers responded to a burglary that had already occurred at the Bypass Bottle, 110 Commerce Rd.  Bottles of alcohol valued at $253 were stolen.

A man reported that his Jane Circle residence was burglarized between 8pm on  January 27 and 6:30pm on January 29.  TVs and a shotgun with a total value of $1,700 were stolen.  

A man said someone entered his Oak Hill residence on January 27 while he was sleeping and took his Samsung HD TV. The man  said that his residence was unlocked and the TV was taken from the room that he was sleeping in.

A man said his Pinecrest Drive home was burglarized between 7:30pm and 8:57pm on January 27. Cleveland said entry was made through a window and suspects stole an Apple I pad, Sony Play Station and a PS3 Camera. The victim reported that there was a suspicious vehicle in the area when he left at 7:30pm. Vehicle is said to have been a black Toyota Tacoma.
