Crime Blotter--More burglaries reported.

The information in this story comes from the ACC Police Department. An arrest doesn't mean a conviction.

An Onyx Place residence was burglarized between 6pm on December 6 and 8:30am on December 7.  TVs and a video game system valued at $450 were stolen.

A woman said she heard loud banging at the front door of her Westchester Circle residence around 7:50am on December 7.  She went downstairs and saw that a video game system, games, camera, camcorder, and laptop had been stolen.  These items were valued at $2,870.  A neighbor saw two males with backpacks leave the woman’s residence.  Suspects were named.

An Oak Hill Drive resident said she was visiting a male friend at his Baxter Drive residence.  Another male came over and he and the friend began fighting.  The woman told them to stop and she then went out to the parking lot.  The second male came out a few minutes later and began arguing with the woman.  He told her to get in her car.  When she refused, he forced her in the passenger side.  He got in the driver’s seat and drove off.  He drove around for an unspecified period of time.  During this time, the woman said the suspect punched her in the face.  He returned to Athens and drove to the Rocksprings area.  He exited the vehicle and left her there. This was reported around 10m on December 7th.
