Crime Blotter--more drug arrests

Members of the Drug Task Force assisted a State Probation officer with the search of a probationer’s East Whitehall Road residence  on February 7. A quantity of marijuana, digital scales, and packaging paraphernalia as well as rifles and a handgun were seized. Jeremy Sudberry, 30, was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute and State Probation charged him with Probation Violation.

Around 8:10pm on February 7, an officer on patrol in Rolling Ridge saw a vehicle drive up to one of the buildings. A man standing by the building walked over to the vehicle.  As the officer approached, the driver quickly drove off. After the car passed the officer, he saw that it did not have a tag light. A traffic stop was made on Newton Bridge Road at Deer Trail. As the officer talked with the back seat passenger, he could smell an odor of green marijuana inside the vehicle. The occupants were identified and asked to exit the vehicle. During a search of the vehicle, a handgun was located in a pocket on the back of the seat in front of the back seat passenger. A small plastic container of suspected marijuana and buds was found in the glove box. A small pill, later identified as Oxycodone, was found in the passenger side door pocket. A search of the front seat passenger revealed a digital scale. During a search of the driver a small bag of suspected marijuana was found in his pocket. It was determined the back seat passenger had also given a false name. All three men were arrested. Toddrick Tyrone Watson, 29, Weatherly Woods Dr, was charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and Giving False Information. Trellis Demond Drake, 26, Chalfont Drive, was charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana. Julious Ramon Sims, 28, Oak Grove Road, was charged with Possession of Marijuana, Possession of a Schedule I/II Substance, Drug Not in Original Container, and Improper Display of License Plate.
