Crime Blotter--More Stealing From Homes and Vehicles

 The manager of Crazy
Ray’s Express Car Wash at 4350 Lexington Road sa[d that someone broke out a
glass door and entered the business. The incident occurred between 7:00 PM
September 6th and 648 AM on September 7th. Taken was a box fan and candy valued
at $165.

A woman reported that someone entered a vacant duplex on
Ashmore Drive between 12:01 AM and 9:00 AM on September 7th. The outside air
conditioning unit valued at $3,500 was the only item taken.  

A man reported that someone entered his vacant trailer on
Burkland Drive by breaking in the rear door between 9:00 AM on September 5th
and 11:00 AM on September 7th. Taken from inside was the air conditioning unit
valued at $800.

A man reported that someone entered his residence on
Fairview Street between 12:20 PM and 12:30 PM on September 7th. The intruders
kicked in the back door and took electronic items valued at $852.  

A woman living on Pauldoe Street reported that her sister
entered her home through a window between 2:00 PM on September 6th and 2:30 PM
on September 7th. Taken was a bottle of prescription medication and currency
valued at $140.  

The property manager of an Altarstone Drive residence said
that someone had entered the house by removing the back door between 12:00 PM
on August 23rd and 5:30 PM on September 7th. Taken was a refrigerator and
oven/stove unit valued at $1,700.

A woman told police that someone entered her Fourth Street
residence by kicking in the back door between 11:30 AM on September 7th and
12:30 AM on September 8th. Taken was a 42” Vizio flat screen television valued
at $638.

A woman reported that her 2008 Pontiac G5 was taken from her
Spring Valley residence between 8:00 PM on September 7th and 02:59 AM on
September 8th. The vehicle had previously been located with the keys in the
ignition on Pauldoe Street after being hurriedly abandoned by several occupants
involved in an altercation on West. Broad Street.  

A man reported that someone entered his 2010 Ford pickup by breaking out the passenger window while it was parked at the YMCA on Hawthorne between 4:50 PM and 5:30 PM September 7th. Officers discovered that someone had entered a 1987 Toyota Camry by breaking out the driver’s side rear window. The pickup’s owner said that the thief took, while the Toyota’s owner lost a purse and laptop valued at $1,319.
