On December 21 officers responded to a Picadilly Square residence in reference to an entering auto. The resident said the driver side and sliding back window on his Ford truck were both broken and a two rifles were taken.
On December 21 officers responded to a Woodlake Drive residence in reference to an entering auto. The resident said an unknown person entered her unsecure vehicle and removed two bookbags and a pair of sunglasses.

A Barrington Place residence was burglarized between 8:30am on December 18 and 8:30am on December 19. Computer equipment, an autographed football, an autographed baseball, and a backpack were stolen. The total value was $1,300.
A man reported that a hand gun valued at $700 was stolen from his East Broad Street residence between midnight December 6 and 3pm on December 13. This was reported on December 19.
A Ruth Street residence was burglarized between 6:30pm on December 17 and 1pm on December 19. A TV valued at $350 was stolen.
An Ashley Circle residence was burglarized between 7pm on December 14 and 2:30pm on December 19. Video discs/Blu-Ray discs, a Blu-Ray player, guitar, laptops, video games, video game console, audio cables, drill set, ammunition, gun cleaning kit, hunting gear, safe, jewelry, and documents were stolen. The total value was $7,263.
Between December 14 and 19 copper lightning rods valued at $1,450 were stolen from the Talmadge parking deck at Athens Regional Medical Center.
