Drug Task Force Arrests, Charges Man with Cocaine Trafficking

ARREST 

On June 10, members of the Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 240 #D-3 Wynter Court. A quantity of cocaine, cash, a vehicle, and a digital scale were seized. The resident, Derrick Briscoe, 34, was arrested and charged with Trafficking Cocaine.

THEFT BY TAKING 

A Rolling Ridge Drive woman advised her 1990 Honda Accord had mechanical issues. She said she had arranged for the vehicle to be towed to a shop to be repaired. When she called to check on the repairs, she was told the vehicle was not at her residence when they came to pick it up. The vehicle is blue, with Georgia tag PTC5411, and is valued at $5,000. This occurred between 12 p.m. May 28 and 4:20 p.m. June 10.

The woman reported $1,200 stolen from her Harvest Way residence between 12 p.m. and 9:45 p.m. June 10. Possible suspects were named.
