Entering Auto, Burglary, Injury Accident Reported in Athens

Entering Auto

Mallie Clark Fain IV and Joan Fain reported that their 2010 GMC truck was entered at a Holly Falls address on February 14, between 20:00 and 20:45 the vehicle was left unlocked. Items taken were; a ladies purse with wallet, various credit cards and an IPhone 5 that all belonged to a Beth Chambers, another’s ladies purse with a wallet and checkbook, Browning 270 Rifle valued at $2100. Total value of items taken was $2862.00

Burglary

The courtesy officer for University Oaks Apartment complex reported a burglary that occurred sometimes between February 01, 2014 and February 12, 2014 at this time there are no known items taken.

Accident with injuries

Holly Lambert was traveling Northbound on King Ave on a bicycle when she was truck from the rear by a vehicle driven by John Weakley. Lambert was transported to Athens Regional Medical Center with serious injuries. This accident is still under investigation.
