Family Finds Bullet Holes in Home

The information in this story comes from the Athens Clarke County Police. An arrest doesn't mean a conviction.

On August 25th, Athens Clarke County Police Officers responded to a Westchester residence.

A member of the occupant's family noticed a bullet hole in the bathroom area of the home. As police officers looked around, they found several bullet holes in various walls of the residence and several shell casings outside, in front of the home.

Officers spoke with all of the residents and two neighbors. No one was able to identify any suspects. The occupant told police officers that around 3am she thought she heard gunshots but said she thought it also could have been fireworks.
