Family of Missing Monroe Man Remains Positive

Charles Parker has been missing for more than a week.

 

The family of Charles Stephen Parker, , remains hopeful that he will be found.

Parker's car was found in Athens, near College Avenue and Hoyt Street, last week, around midnight on Tuesday.

The family has offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to Parker, said Jim Fullington, special agent in charge with the GBI Athens field office.

Parker is a graduate of the University of Georgia who works as an assistant manager at a Bank of America branch in Athens. His wife and he live in Monroe.

Patrick Parker, brother of Charles Parker, told the Banner Herald yesterday that he believes “that someone knows where Charles is” and that the family has to remain positive and prayerful.

Fullington said said he wouldn’t speculate about what may be happening, or what may have happened, to Parker. His office continues to treat the case as a missing person case “and are following up on small tidbits of information.”
