Home Invaded, Copper Stolen, Cars Entered & Other Crimes

On April 20th officers responded to a possible burglary in progress on Barrington Drive. Officers saw the suspect vehicle and 2 white men at the vehicle. One male fled when he caught sight of the officers. He was later caught and identified as Christian Rubio. The other male (Jacob Lott) was detained. The investigation revealed that the men were not involved in a burglary. Lott and Rubio did possess marijuana and were charged and taken to the sheriff’s office.

A woman reported the her Barrington Drive home was burglarized between 5pm on April 19th and 4pm on April 20th. Items stolen include an Xbox, games and a purse all valued at $420.

A man from Pepperidge Lane said his home was burglarized between 6:28pm and 7:28pm on April 20th. Johnson said 2 TVs and jewelry were taken. Total value of stolen items is $7844.

A man reported that 700lbs of copper were stolen from Georgia Power. The theft occurred at the Dairy Pak Road Georgia Power Office between 5:30pm on Aprl 19th and 7am on Aprl 20th.  The copper was valued at $5,000.

A Comer man reported that he left a piece of construction equipment on Noketchee Creek Road in July 2012. Parham returned on April 19th to collect the equipment and the equipment was missing. The equipment was valued at over $2,000.

A woman from Hidden Creek Drive reported that someone entered her ‘97 Ford on April 20th between 11:40pm and 11:50pm. She said nothing was taken and a suspect was named.

A man from College Avenue said someone entered his 2002 Honda while it was parked on Kendene Street on April 20th around 11:50pm. The man said he was unloading his car and saw a black man enter his car. The suspect ran when the owner yelled. The Honda owner then saw a car drive by with the suspect inside the car and took a photo of the suspect’s car’s license plate. A juvenile suspect was named.
