Illinois Woman Who Stole from the Ga. Center Rearrested for Probation Violation

Linda Barr Fellenbaum has used a variety of aliases in the past year.

Sunday afternoon, Linda Barr Fellenbaum, 33, was booked into the Clarke County Jail for probation violation. She's the woman who in March pleaded guilty to taking $1,700 in electronics from the Georgia Center months before.

According to a story in the Athens Banner Herald, Fellenbaum violated her probation. Because hers was a first violation, Western Judicial Circuit Chief Judge David Sweat granted Fellenbaum first-offender status. She received three years probation, and ordered to make restitution to UGA and complete 40 hours of community service.

According to the story, the first week after her sentencing, she didn't show up for a meeting with her probation officers. And on August 23, she was picked up in Oconee County for using an assumed name and for financial transaction card fraud. She was transferred to the Clarke County Jail.
