Man and Woman Arrested for Indecent Exposure Near Downtown

An Athens man and woman were arrested Sunday afternoon after they were reported for indecent exposure near downtown, according to an Athens-Clarke County Police report.
Police arrived at the intersection of E. Broad Street and Hickory Street at about 3:30 p.m. after a caller reported that a man was masturbating on the side of the road. The caller also said a woman was lifting up her shirt for the man.
On arrival, they saw a man and a woman standing ten feet from E. Broad Street. Both the woman's breasts and the man's masturbating could easily be seen from the roadway.

Police arrested Regina Sims, 41, and James McDonald, 44. They were charged with indecent exposure and transported to the Clarke County Jail.
