Man Arrested for Sexual Battery and Pandering

At 12:37am on February 17, Athens Clarke County Police responded to the Bigger Vision Homeless Shelter at 95 North Avenue.
There they met with two women, 43 and 56 years old, who reported that a male had touched them inappropriately while they were in the shelter. The younger woman said the man had offered her cash for sexual favors.

The man was identified as Joseph C. Brown, a homeless person. Brown was arrested and charged with two counts of Sexual Battery and one count of Pandering.
