Man Attacks and Stabs Another Man with a Knife

Around 11:15pm on March 17, officers responded to an assault that occurred on Magnolia Street.
An investigation revealed that a man who lives on Magnolia Terrace and Ivan Nicholas Dennis of Sparta were arguing.
The argument turned physical and Dennis attacked the other man with a knife. He sustained a laceration to his arm and a stab wound to his back. EMS responded and transported the wounded man to Athens Regional Medical Center.

Dennis was located nearby. After police questioned him, Dennis was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assaulted.
