Mother, Daughters and Daughter's Friend Arrested for Shoplifting at Epps Bridge Wal Mart

The thefts happened at the Epps Bridge Parkway Wal Mart.

An Athens woman, her juvenile daughter, her 18 year old daughter and the daughter's 18 year old friend were apprehended for shoplifting at the Wal Mart on Epps Bridge Parkway. The incident is said to have occurred between 6 and 6:22pm on Sunday, according to an incident report by an Oconee County Sheriff's Deputy.

Nicole Johnson, 41, her juvenile child, her daughter Allexandrah Burke and the daughter's friend Brittany Bethke, of Thomaston, were all charged with Theft by Shoplifting under $500. The four females each were estimated to have taken $100 worth of merchandise, including items such as lipstick and body wash. 

Johnson told the deputy that she took full responsibility for her daughters' actions. The deputy charged the woman with contributing to the delinquency of a minor. The younger girl was released to an another adult. Johnson, her older daughter and her daughter's friend were taken to the Oconee County Jail.
