Papa John's Employee Receives Fake Order, Has Pizza and Money Stolen

The information in this story comes from the ACC Police Department. An arrest doesn't mean a conviction.

An unknown person stole pizza and an undetermined amount of money from a Papa John's Pizza employee Wednesday night, according to an Athens-Clarke County Police report.

The delivery worker told police that he attempted a delivery on Broad Acres Court around 11:30 p.m. When he knocked on the door of the apartment, the resident said she had not ordered a pizza.

When the worker turned to go back to his vehicle, a short, black man with dreads approached him, took his pizza and asked if he had change for $100. He took an undisclosed amount of money from the worker and left.
