Police Department Seeks School Crossing Guards
Crossing guards are an essential part of a safe schools program.
The Athens Clarke County Police Department wants to hire school crossing guards for the various intersections around public schools. The hours for the posts are 6:55 to 7:55 (am) and 2:20 to 3:20 (pm).
If anyone is interested, please fill out the application and drop it by the Athens-Clarke County Police Department at 3035 Lexington Road. The pay for crossing guards is $9.29/hour.
