Police: Suspect in Drive-by Shooting Arrested

Athens-Clarke County police officers say three people were injured in a drive-by shooting in the early hours of Sunday morning.

According to police report, Santino Deante Luke, 20, drove by a home on Deer Parkway around 12:15 a.m. and open-fired into a crowd, injuring three.

Martavious Fields, 19, of the address on Deer Parkway, Kinarious Faust, 19, of Martin Court, and Andricus Henderson, 17, of Winterville all suffered non-life threatening gunshot wounds and were treated at a local hospital, according to a news release.

Athens-Clarke County Police Department posted on Facebook, saying Luke was taken into custody Monday. Police reports say Luke turned himself in at police headquarters. He was charged with three counts of aggravated assault.
