Robber Makes Off with Purse and Money

Officers responded to an armed robbery that had just occurred at a Hickman Drive residence around 12:55am on April 10.

A woman told police that a black man armed with a hand gun entered her residence through an unlocked door. She said he asked for “Tay.”

She told him there was no one there by that name and grabbed her phone to call 911. The man took the phone from her, grabbed her purse, and ran outside. She didn't know which way he went.

A man from Chesterfield Road, along with a woman from Hickhman Drive and a three-year-old, were all present during the robbery.

The man told police the robber took $10 from him. The suspect was described as 6’0” to 6’1”, early 20s, with short dreads, wearing a black ball cap, all black clothing with a black handkerchief over his face. The total value of the stolen items was $360.
