Someone Snatches Stratocaster & Other Thefts in Athens, Ga.
At 6:00 pm, June 21, an Atlanta Avenue resident was unloading musical equipment from his vehicle near the intersection of Lumpkin and Clayton Streets. At some point, a Fender Stratocaster Guitar, hard-shell case and two straps were stolen. The guitar was valued at $1,300.00.
A woman reported that her vehicle was entered while it was parked at her Clover Street address. A Dell Latitude computer, charger and bag, valued at $1,050.00, were stolen from inside the vehicle.
A man reported that between 8:00 and 10:00am on June 21, his white, 2007 Honda motorcycle was stolen while it was parked at his Williams Street address. A search of the area by responding officers located the motorcycle in an adjoining complex with the ignition wires cut.
Someone entered a Woodstone Drive residence between 9:30 pm on June 21 and 2:39 am on June 22. Entry was made through a forced-open kitchen window. A Sony flat-screen TV, Playstation III Game System and a Nintendo Wii Game System, total value of $1,150.00, were taken.
A man reported that his Atlanta Ave residence was burglarized between 9pm on June 19 and 8am on June 20. A jar containing approximately $200 was stolen.

A Lakeside Drive residence was burglarized between 10:15am and 5:35pm on June 20. Someone stole video game controllers, TVs, and a laptop with a total value of $1,350.
Between 10pm and 10:15pm on June 20 a Little Oak Street residence was burglarized. Food items valued at $30 were stolen. A suspect was named.
A woman reported that jewelry valued at $1,000 was stolen from her Davis Estates Road residence between June 5 and 20.
