Teenager Arrested for Burglary on Prince Avenue in Athens

The information in this story comes from the ACC Police Department. An arrest doesn't mean a conviction.

Officers were dispatched to a burglary in progress at a residence on Prince Avenue on August 16 at 1:40am.

The police learned that a white truck had left the scene. An officer saw the truck on Prince Avenue as it turned onto Sylvia Circle. As an officer approached, the truck sped off and drove into a yard on Jefferson Circle. Two people bolted out of the truck and ran away.

Officers saw a flat screen television and other items in the truck that were identified as having been stolen from 1688 Prince Avenue.

Saheed Snow, 17, Lone Star Road, Bogart, was located in a shed behind a residence on Jefferson Cir. He was arrested and charged with Burglary; Obstruction or Hindering; and Curfew Violation-Night Time.

The other suspect was not located. The investigation continues.
