Thieves Uncap Gasoline Wells at Convenience Store, Steal $1,000 in Fuel

BURGLARY 

A Sunnybrook Drive residence was burglarized between 12 p.m. May 11 and 9:30 p.m. May 26. A necklace, value unknown, was stolen. This was reported on June 19.

A woman said her children heard the front door of their Howell Way residence being unlocked around 2:35 a.m. June 19. They saw a person known with a flashlight in their mother’s room. Nothing is known missing. It was not noted in the report why officers were not called when this happened.

THEFT BY TAKING / CRIMINAL TRESPASS 

Between 10:30 p.m. June 18 and 9 a.m. June 19 caps to the gasoline wells were broken and approximately $1,000 worth of gasoline was stolen at the Airport Minit Mart, 1989 Winterville Road.
