Two Residences on Sayemore Drive in Athens Burglarized
The following information was provided by the Athens-Clarke County Police Department.
Two Sayemore Drive residences side by side to one another were burglarized this week.
According to Athens police, the burglaries happened sometime between 8 and 9 a.m. on Thursday, May 23.
A man returned home and noticed several items out of place. Then he discovered a laptop and bowie knife with a total value of $1,445 had been stolen.

A vacant residence next door, which is also owned by the man, was also burglarized but nothing was taken.
