Athens Regional Library System and Lyndon House Arts Center partner for IMLS leadership grant

This "Cyber Seniors" banner was created for a poster session to be part of the American Library Association annual convention in Chicago, June 27 - July 1. It shows the results of a three-year Leadership GrantΒ  from the U. S. Institute of Museum and Library Services awarded to the Athens Regional Library System and Lyndon House Arts Center, "The Boomers: Reflecting, Sharing, Learning." Poster design by Van Burns.

Entry to the poster session was very competitive. Only about one in three proposals were accepted.

In addition to the poster session,Β  Ames and Darnell will be part of a panel presentation called, From Seniors to Boomers: Library Models for Engaging Older Adults. To learn more about the project, visit www.boomersinathens.org.
