Early Results: Yes, It's Spencer Frye in Athens, Ga.
The Democrat was leading Republic Carter Kessler, 67 to 33 percent, preliminary numbers show.
It looks like Spencer Frye is going to be Athens' sole Democrat in the Georgia House of Representatives this coming session.
With not all precincts counted, Frye was leading Republican Carter Kessler 67 to 33 percent in the race for District 118. Long time incumbent Keith Heard lost the primary election to Frye in July.
