Athens-Clarke County residents will have three opportunities to view maps of the proposed new Athens-Clarke County Commission districts during three public forums scheduled this month. The Reapportionment Committee, appointed by Mayor Denson, has been working with Linda Meggers, former Director of the Georgia Reapportionment Office, to draw new district lines based on the 2010 Census numbers.

Each forum will feature a short presentation to explain the redistricting process followed by questions and answers.
