Improvements Soon Underway at Five Points Intersection

The commissioner encourages everyone to drive slowly through the intersection as work progresses.

Athens Clarke County Commissioner Allison Wright reports on progress with the Safe Route to Schools improvements at the Five Points Intersection. These were awarded to Barrow Elementary by the Georgia Department of Transportation.

Here’s what she says:

* The 'island' which has been taken apart this week did not meet current American with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards, so it will be brought up to those standards.
