Athens Regional Medical Center has many job openings. The search is on for a new vice president for the Athens Regional Foundation. Here's what the job description says about the position:

The Vice President, Athens Regional Foundation provides overall leadership on all primary functions of Athens Regional Foundation and ensures alignment with all organizational initiatives and/or requirements, and that all departmental outcomes are achieved. The position is primarily responsible for identifying, cultivating, soliciting, obtaining and maintaining all foundation activity across the organization; including but not limited to major gift, corporate donor and planned gift programs. The position is also responsible for partnering with foundation board and related committees to lead all major innovative fundraising programs in concert with Administration, Athens Regional Foundation Board, and other ARHS employees. The position will also provide leadership oversight on all foundation funding program, major special events and third party fundraisers across the organization.

The Chief Technology Officer partners with the Chief Information Officer and leads the technology direction for the enterprise. The Chief Technology Officer has overall responsibility for managing technology infrastructure planning and deployment, providing technology vision, enabling innovation and understanding the IT trends that can create business value. The Chief Technology Officer oversees development of enterprise standards for technology architecture, technology evaluation and transfer, and provides leadership for the IT governance process. The CTO is also responsible for managing strategic vendor and partner relationships and leading technical and architectural aspects of enterprise-wide business decisions. The Chief Technology Officer is the highest technical leadership role in the IT organization. The CTO: participates in and drives the technical aspects of strategic decisions regarding IT for the enterprise; implements and manages those initiatives; makes decisions for the organization based on the highest degree of technical complexity and with a thorough understanding of the far-reaching implications across the institution, the application and technology portfolio and the technology infrastructure as a whole. The CTO ensures coordination and integration of workflow with all clinical and operational areas and serves as a key liaison with the business leaders of Athens Regional Health System.
