Readers' Choice: Best Place for Sporting Goods in Athens, Ga.

When it's time to buy swim goggles or a new baseball glove, where do you go?

Athens Patch wants to know the place our readers turn to for sporting goods needs. Sure, sports includes everything from checkers to yoga to golf, and there are specialty stores for these activities.

But what's your tried and true place for sports stuff?

Help your favorite business win the "Readers' Choice" title by voting in our poll or rating the business. Here's how it works:

Stores will be ranked from first to third place based on number of poll votes, receiving 10 points for first, 8 for second and 6 for third. Readers may also rate a store in the Athens Patch Directory (ratings are based on a 5-star scale, and you must be a registered user in order to rate a business). Businesses will be ranked from first to third place, with the highest rating receving 10 points, the second best rating receiving 8 points, and the third best receiving 6 points.

After the voting period, we'll add up the total points for the top three businesses in poll votes and directory ratings, and the restaurant with the highest point total will be declared the Readers' Choice. If there's a tie, the store with the highest total number of positive reviews on its directory listing and positive comments on our weekly Readers' Choice article will be declared the winner.

Polls close at 9 a.m. on Friday, April 13. The winner will be announced at noon.
