Athens’ Most Expensive Properties

The real estate recovery nationwide has been bumpy at best in some areas, but a few high-end properties have hit the market here in Athens and the surrounding area.

Right now, the highest-priced single-family home for sale with an Athens address is this one at 103 Post Oak Trail. At $3.65 million, it features six bedrooms, six full and two half baths and 14 acres of grounds – plenty of room for a guest house, circular pool, patios and gardens. The second-most expensive single-family home on the market in the Athens area is at 7804 Jefferson River Road, between 129 and 441 south of New Kings Bridge Road. At $2.15 million, the 106-acre equestrian facility features a 16-stall show barn, six-stall guest barn, training field, miles of trails and more. The third-most expensive home: 279 Meigs Street, listed for $1.95 million. Built back in 1834 and surrounded by more than 2 acres of land, the Camak House has four bedrooms, one full and two half baths, plenty of natural light, modern upgrades and historic details. To be fair, there are two other properties in the greater Athens area with price tags of $2 million and up. At $2 million, there are 25 acres of land available at 200 Park West Boulevard. 

And, at almost $2.6 million, 110 – 266 Lavender Road is also available – that’s the Lavender Lakes duplex community with 30-acres of land and 29 duplex homes.
