Cedar Shoals High School Memory Garden Celebrates 10th Anniversary

Ceremony is scheduled for Sunday, April 27.

Submitted by CJ Amason

Ten years ago the Green Acres Garden Club began a memory garden at Cedar Shoals High School to honor former students and staff who have passed away.

This patio outside the cafeteria has more than 700 bricks, 350 which have been engraved in honor of people connected to the Cedar community.

On Sunday, April 27, at 2 p.m. there will be a short ceremony to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of the Garden and to dedicate the approximately 25 more bricks that are ready to be laid.

This event is open to the public and all are encouraged to attend.
