Cedar Shoals STAR Student Had a Perfect ACT Score

Evan Knox and Dion Muldrow, both representing Cedar Shoals High School, were named the Athens System STAR student and teacher last week at the Rotary Club of Athens luncheon.

Knox is a senior at Cedar Shoals and a dually enrolled student at the high school and the University of Georgia, where he is a physics major. He has earned a perfect ACT score and is a Presidential Scholar candidate.

Muldrow is the director of the concert, symphonic and marching bands at Cedar Shoals.

“Evan is an outstanding student,” Muldrow said. “His desire to learn and thirst for knowledge exceeds that of even the most driven teenagers; however, the most impressive attribute Evan demonstrates is his unending respect and humility for everyone and everything that he encounters.”
