Clarke Deputy Superintendent Moving on to Lead Baldwin County Schools

Dr. Noris Price has been with Clarke County Schools since 2007.

Clarke County Schools Deputy Superintendent Dr. Noris Price is leaving the district to be the new superintendent in Baldwin County.

Clarke Superintendent Dr. Philip Lanoue said in the letter to faculty and staff that Price’s last day will be June 30. Price has been with the school district since 2007.

“She has truly made a difference for all students, and the impact she has made on our district and community will be a lasting one,” Lanoue said in the letter. “Our students are well-positioned for future success, and she has played a significant role in where we are today. Dr. Price has said that she has over 12,000 children - and I know that sincere belief drives her work to such high levels.”

Price said, according to the superintendent’s letter, "I am excited about the opportunity to make a difference in Baldwin County, but will sincerely miss my Clarke County School District family. I have enjoyed my seven years with the school district, and I am extremely proud of what we have accomplished. It has been an amazing journey."
