Athens Bulldog Swim Club Competes at Augusta Quad Meet

Coaches say they are excited about the progress of the team, based in Athens, Ga.

ABSC took on Georgia Coastal Aquatic Team, Greater Augusta Swimming, and Aiken-Augusta Swim League in ASL’s Fall Quad Meet at the Augusta Aquatics Center this past weekend.  It was a time for ABSC swimmers to practice racing fast competition and striving for state cuts in the team’s biggest meet yet this season.

ABSC Head Development Coach Kevin Taylor said, “Our swimmers performed well at our first away meet against some great competition. We are excited about where we are as we approach the halfway point of the short course season"

ABSC will host its own quad meet, The Classic City Meet, December 7-9, while older swimmers with qualifying times will travel that same weekend to Georgia Tech for the Georgia Senior State Meet.
