Local team hosts Atlanta teams in Athens, Ga.

Athens Bulldog Swim Club athletes held their own in the pool against strong competition from Atlanta over the weekend as the Ramsey-based age group team hosted Gwinnett Aquatics on Friday night and the Marietta Marlins and Carrolton Bluefins on Sunday morning.

The golden relay team for the weekend was ABSC’s 10-under girls (Brynn Halbach, Marie Moore, Abigail Weimer and Karen Zhao), winning all of their relays, 100-yard medley and 100-yard freestyle.
