JUSTICE FOR ALL Solidarity Rally

Peace family,

To commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the 1963 March on Washington, people all across the nation will be coming together for Justice for Trayvon Martin Assemblies on Wed. Aug 28, 2013.

Trayvon Martin was an unarmed Black teenager who was racially profiled and killed on Feb 26, 2012.  Although Trayvon did not receive justice through the legal system we, who love justice, have vowed to seek justice for him through peaceful protest.

The purpose of the rally in Athens is to honor the memory of Trayvon Martin by bringing communities together to raise awareness about Stand Your Ground Laws; Racial Profiling; LGBT Equality; Living Wage & Worker Rights; Ban on Undocumented Students & Immigration Reform; Voting Rights Act, etc.

Please join us on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at 6pm at the UGA Arch. The People United Will Never Be Defeated!

The JUSTICE FOR ALL Solidarity Rally is sponsored by Under the Rainbow Athens; UGA NAACP; Freedom University; Our Hope MCC; Economic Justice Coalition and Athens Immigrant Rights Coalition.
