Second City Comedy Troupe Presenting Three Performances at UGA

Tickets are $40 for the general public, with discounts for students.

The University of Georgia Performing Arts Center will present the Second City comedy improv troupe for three performancesJan. 27, 28 and 29 at 8 p.m. in Ramsey Concert Hall. The group returns in a new show entitled “Happily Ever Laughter.”

Based in Chicago, the Second City is making its third Ramsey Hall appearance, following sold-out shows in 2010 and 2012. The company has launched the careers of comedy stars including Tina Fey, Stephen Colbert, Steve Carell, Amy Poehler, Jason Sudekis, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Bill Murray and Joan Rivers. 

With a combination of sketches, songs, and improvisation, the SecondCity has been entertaining audiences around the world for more than 50 years. 

Tickets for the Second City are $40 with discounts for UGA students. Tickets can be purchased at the Performing Arts Center box office, online or by calling 706-542-4400 or toll free at 888-289-8497.
