Rivers Alive is an annual clean-up of the waterways and surrounding areas in Athens. Volunteers will work in groups throughout the community to collect litter and make the streams and rivers cleaner and healthier.
Schedule
8:00am-9:00am – Volunteer Check-in ad Dudley Park (coffee and juice will be provided)
9:00am-12:00pm – Clean-up projects
12:00pm-1pm – Prizes, lunch (pizza and drinks provided), band performance, kids area and games back at Dudley Park!
Volunteers are asked to register online in advance http://handsonnega.org/special-events to choose a project site! Please report to Dudley Park to check in and all volunteers will be dispersed to project sites from there.
