I have wanted to try a painting class for awhile, but wasn't confident in my abilities. I finally decided to take the plunge by signing up for the Bulldog Puppy class, and I am so glad I did! All the other participants were relaxed and friendly. Kate was instructive but not overbearing, and when I had a splatter "oops" she was quick to assist and reassure me it was fixable. An excellent evening all around! Now I'm just trying to decide which painting I want to do next!

ARTini's Open Studio is an art gallery and lounge offering a wide range of events and activities for customers. I would like to say I love this place! I've been to other art bar/lounges in the Athens Georgia area and personally this one is so much better in so many ways. It's a relaxing environment, very easy instruction, and always a great place to meet new people. I have been into paint at Artini's on several occasions including my most recent birthday where I begged my boyfriend to come with me,he who is a musician. He thought he didn't have the painting gene. Well turns out I loved his version better than my own! So I promise there's no thinking to whether you will have a good time or not.
I have been to ARTini's twice now, and I have to warn you- it's addictive! The second time I went, I took my mom, grandma, and mother-in-law as a mother's day treat, and we had the BEST time! You don't have to have the slightest inkling of artistic talent (trust me) to still produce something you are proud of during the class. Kate moves the class along at just the right pace, and if you need to catch up or need help, she pauses to answer questions and help out. 5 stars!
I have been to a few painting classes around Athens. I found that Artinis was at the top of my list. The painting looked complex, but turn out it was a breeze! The instructor broke it down and my work of art turned out fabulous!
