Athens Regional is anything but a "first rate" facility. This facility is an example of 3rd world country medical facilities. We are in disbelief as to our treatment yesterday. (January 11, 2013). The issues experienced have nothing to do with the physicians but with hospital employees such as incompitent nurses, assistants and other employees. Had we been able to, we would have walked out quicker than we came in. I will NEVER step foot in Athens Regional again.
