The Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia has a rich history of community and charitable connections in Georgia, and is open to girls ages 5 through 17. It offers girls and young women a chance to make friends, serve their community and build a sense of character and self-esteem that will stay with them for years to come. Activities involve camps, personal leadership projects in a variety of fields, community service and even world travel. Charitable and civic services encompass a wide range of focuses, from environmentalism to animal welfare, hunger and international relief. Volunteers and donations are always accepted and of course, the Girl Scouts offer an annual cookie sale.
