Founded in 1958, Milledge Avenue Baptist Church is a large congregation in the residential area of South Milledge Avenue, near Five Points. Its mission statement describes the congregation as, "a worshiping family of God."

Milledge Avenue Baptist caters to all congregants, with a variety of programs. Sunday school begins at 9:45am, before the 11am service. Missionary service includes charity for the homeless, immigrants and local education programs. A Wednesday night program caters to both children and adults.

Other ministeries include music, adult and senior programs. The church building itself is a monumental brick structure that gives an air of permanence and reverence.
