This animal hospital is easily mistaken for a fire station, because that is exactly what it used to be. The owners,More Karen Middendorf and Hunter Bates, took over the building when Fire Station #4 moved a few blocks away. They kept many of the looks of the firehouse, including the name and added a schnauzer windmill to the top of the building. 

Here at Firehall 4 Animal Hospital, cats and dogs of all sizes are groomed, medically treated (including surgery) and boarded. While the hospital is not open 24 hours for the public, there are workers who come and care for the overnight guests.
