Beer Keg Stolen From Woman's Front Porch

An Athens woman's beer keg was stolen from her front porch on Morton Avenue Monday afternoon, according to an Athens-Clarke County Police report. The woman told police that the beer keg had been taken at about 4 p.m. that afternoon. Her roommate, who witnessed the theft, said a black male in his 20s, wearing a baseball cap backwards, took the keg and ran off. No suspects were named at the time of the report.
